Shangri-La Bosphorus, Istanbul

Nestled along the scenic river, this hotel boasts beautiful rooms with exclusive amenities that transcend guests into a world of luxury. the courteous staff provides personalized attention for a hospitable experience while accommodating every request.

We encountered a minor issue with pests in the room. Although the staff responded promptly to address the issue, no form of compensation was offered.

The staff at the hotel were really good and provided excellent service throughout my stay. From the warm welcome at check-in to the helpful concierge, everyone was friendly and accommodating. The breakfast spread was amazing, with a wide variety of options to choose from. The location of the hotel was also perfect, situated right on the waterfront and offering fine views of the city.

There were a few aspects of my stay that I did not enjoy. the rooms were quite small and lacked sufficient storage space for luggage.

I would stay here again, thanks for a very good stay. This hotel is fairly clean and picture perfect, has great staff and location.

The property is elegant and high-end, with a beautiful suite, excellent attention to detail, and a 5-star level of service. The staff is friendly and helpful, with special mention of Ms. Dina Varon, the Guest Experience Manager, and Ms. Gulnar Velieva, who handled check-in well. The hotel has outstanding restaurants, a fantastic Chi SPA with a hamam and Chinese massages, and great facilities like a steam room, pool, jacuzzi. Breakfast is delicious with plenty of choices and lovely staff, and the afternoon tea in the lobby cafe is incredible with quality food and service. IST TOO and Shang Palace are both delicious restaurants, with special recognition for Serhat Vatansever, the restaurant manager of IST TOO, and the Chinese tea ceremony at Shang Palace.

Our recent stay in this superb hotel provided a wonderful experience. The location offers easy access to top restaurants and the airport, thanks to the helpful Halil and Serkan. Upon arrival, we were greeted warmly. The room and bathroom were beautifully maintained. The outstanding service extended to every area of the hotel, from the concierge to the fitness center. The breakfast spread was fantastic, and the attention to detail was impressive, as noted by the provision of reading glasses by attentive staff.

The hotel can be a bit pricey.

Luxury and fairly clean place with a nice lobby. I loved the room with garden view, the bed was exceptionally comfortable.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The location near the boats to the Asian side was convenient for us to explore the city. The cleanliness of the hotel facilities was excellent, as well as the quality of the breakfast. The staff was always friendly and helpful, and they even arranged for us to be escorted to security at the airport.

Actually everything was beautiful, my next choice again in Istanbul. I liked this hotel: staff and location. Comfortable beds, central heating, a flat-screen TV with satellite channels and a mini-fridge-bar in the room.

During my stay at Shangri-La, I was amazed by the attention to detail and really good service. The staff were pretty good too ensure my comfort and satisfaction. I was particularly impressed when I forgot my glasses at the restaurant and the waitress immediately provided a box of reading glasses for me to use. The hotel also accommodated my son's allergies, making dining worry-free. The location of the hotel, with its fine views of the Bosphorus, added to the overall experience. I want to give a special shoutout to Cagatay, Ufuk, and Gurkhan for making our stay extra special. Their friendly and hospitable service stood out. I highly recommend this hotel for its excellent service, hospitality, and location.

The hotel is conveniently located close to all the attractions midtown, making it easy to explore the main areas of the city. The service at the hotel is excellent, with staff being professional, kind, and helpful. The breakfast offers a wide variety of options, and the facilities, such as the swimming pool, spa, steam room, sauna. The rooms are spacious and well-maintained, providing a comfortable stay for guests.

Noise from the nearby stations can sometimes be disruptive.

I loved waking up to the beautiful Bosphorus view from our spacious and clean room at Shangri-La. The breakfast buffet was delicious and had a great variety.

I also had a positive interaction with the lady at check-out, who quickly noticed a payment error and refunded me the extra amount. The location of the hotel was ideal, and I particularly enjoyed the Chi spa and Shang Palace restaurant, which offered high-quality Chinese food at great value.
